I have been a fully qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator since 2014.

My work has included:

• Writing and reviewing EHCP applications

• Creating and reviewing Individual Education Plans

• Supporting families and young people through the statutory process

• Attending tribunals and preparing evidence

• Making referrals to external agencies with relevant evidence

• Reviewing whole school SEN provisions in a number of schools

• Creating and providing training to undergraduate students, ECTs and whole staff continued professional development sessions

I understand both the school system and the challenges families face-and I bridge that gap to achieve better outcomes for children catering to their individual needs.
